Let’s talk training.
There are so many workouts out there—lifting weights, HIIT, yoga, running, stretching, walking uphill with a weighted vest (if that’s your thing). It can get confusing. But the truth is, no single type of movement is the answer. It’s the mix that matters.
Here’s why combining strength, cardio, and mobility is where the magic happens:
Weights build strength and protect your joints.Muscle doesn’t just make you stronger—it supports your bones, keeps your metabolism working, and helps you move better as you age.
HIIT or cardio improves endurance and heart health. You don’t need to be drenched in sweat every time, but getting your heart rate up regularly matters. It helps your energy, focus, and even your sleep.
And rest days? They're not optional.Rest is where recovery happens. It’s when your muscles repair, your nervous system resets, and you actually get stronger. Without recovery, everything else backfires.
The goal isn’t to do everything all the time—it’s to find a rhythm that works for you. Some weeks are heavier on strength, others might be more movement-based. And that’s okay.
Consistency matters more than perfection.
If you’re trying to get into a groove and feel stuck, mix it up. Or just start small—a walk, a short lift, a stretch session. It all counts.
